TRINITY GARDEN ROOM, EDINBURGH
The owners of this Victorian villa in the Edinburgh Trinity Conservation area wanted a glazed garden room extension which increased the size of their day to day living area and gave a better connection to the garden. The structure was kept back from the corners, allowing the large sliding glass doors to open up at both corners. The roof profile was kept slim with the use of high performance vacuum insulation panels and finished with a grass (sedum) roof, to improve the outlook from the bedroom window.
