Revitalising an East Lothian Farmhouse
This 1780s stone farmhouse is undergoing a full refurbishment for enhanced thermal performance (featuring an air source heat pump and underfloor heating) to be transformed into a warm, modern family home.
EAST LOTHIAN FARMHOUSE RENOVATION
This beautiful two-storey stone farmhouse is understood to have been built in the 1780’s, and had been extended and altered several times, with each 'wing' having a slightly different character. The house was in poor condition and required full refurbishment and remodelling to improve the internal layout. The repair requirements were an opportunity to comprehensively improve the thermal performance of the house such that it will be possible to heat the property using an air source heat pump and underfloor heating. When it is finished, this house will provide our clients with a warm and comfortable home for them and their family for many years to come.
